The unchanging magic of the stars shining on the night of Valentine’s Day, a pleasant walk at sunset and when darkness falls, an astrophile friend will guide us to discover the mysteries of the vast infinite space.

Â
Science and mythology, the romance of a starry sky, the fascination of storytelling… A special Valentine’s Day with eyes on the sky and many wishes to be expressed…
Leaving on foot from the Sormano col (1,100 m) we ascend along a mule track watched over by Monte San Primo. We enter the relaxing atmosphere of nature on the mountainside frequented by mouflons.
After a slight uphill stretch, the panorama opens up to Lake Como, which is always astonishingly beautiful. The sun slowly sets and it is time for a break for something to eat and a glass of wine.
The curtain falls, the stars light up. Through binoculars we observe the stars: Jupiter and the Andromeda galaxy, the constellations of Orion, Taurus, Gemini… With a telescope and a laser pointer we will all be able to look far into the distance, peering into the secrets of the universe: galaxies, nebulae, star clusters! How much we have to learn and how many emotions this trip awakens in us! A sliver of moonlight will keep us company on the way back. The charm of the night is enriched by mysterious sounds, an owl? The grunting of boars? Beautiful to walk in the dark, we become children again!
