The enchantment of the Alpine landscapes, nature creating picture-perfect scenes – the Engadine looks just like a Christmas card!
We are in the Engadine, at the Maloja Pass. This is where our snow trek begins, along an easy snow-covered track through coniferous forests: larch, fir and mountain pine. With snowshoes or crampons on our feet (depending on how much snow there is!), we reach Lake Cavloc. We continue along the Val Forno to take in the views of the majestic peaks – and for the sheer pleasure of crunching through the snow! After a lunch break (there’s a mountain hut for those who wish to stop), we head back with our eyes filled with beauty!

From Lecco, it’s a 1.5-hour drive to a free car park,

What to bring: Hiking boots, water, a rucksack, and clothing suitable for the weather.
