The wild charm of the Grigne, that corner of the Dolomites in our Pre-Alps, between towers and pinnacles, up there where eagles dare… We will reach the historic Rosalba refuge (1,730m) along a rocky path recommended for hikers with experience on mountain trails.

PROGRAMME:

From the car park, we walk through a beech forest downhill for about 2km (30m), and then take the Foppe path, which in about 2.30 h, along dirt roads and rocky paths, will lead us to Rif. Rosalba. We will find a couple of points with chains, but this is not a real equipped path; chains can be helpful in the event that the rock is wet and slippery. Packed lunch or lunch at the refuge (depending on the availability of tables and time), and then return along the same path taken on the outward journey.
