Walk through a beautiful chestnut grove in search of tasty fruits!
We will warm up with some good Nebbiolo wine!

Autumn is the best time to walk in the woods of Mount Brianza, when the paths are covered in a carpet of leaves and the colours of the foliage become warm.
Starting from Colle Brianza we will immediately find a path that will lead us to the small hamlets of Scerizza and Scerizzetta, passing farmhouses where time seems to have stood still. We will pass Cascina Fumagallo and the summit of San Genesio where the ancient monastery stands.

We reach a chestnut grove where we enjoy an ever-fashionable pastime, chestnut and marron picking! The guides will tell us the history of the chestnut and its uses: a fruit that for centuries has been the primary food source for thousands of rural populations, a prodigious tree with 1000 uses including furniture, skin tanning, phytotherapy.
Packed lunch, a good glass of Nebbiolo wine on us, and the Alpine hut in range for a coffee or a slice of country cake!
