Camogli-San Fruttuoso
Trekking 6km 450m elevation gain, easy trail, requires moderate level of fitness.
Very Panoramic through holm oaks, maritime pines and olive groves overlooking the Gulf Sea of Portofino Park.
Lunch at the very scenic Agriturismo Molini!
Return to Camogli by boat, optional visit inside San Fruttuoso Abbey.

PROGRAM:
Meet at Central Station at 7.10 am
Departure from Milan Central Station at 7.25 am, direct train to Camogli, expected arrival at 09.55 am
From the Station through pedestrian roads and paths we reach the hamlet of San Rocco (30 min.) where we will stop at a historic Focacceria (since 1885) , the PANIFICIO MACCARINI where we find typical Ligurian products and delicious delicacies.
From San Rocco we continue uphill on a cobblestone road among Mediterranean scrub and picturesque houses, with magnificent views of Paradise Gulf. We enter the woods where the shade of the foliage will protect us from the sun the rest of the way. We climb up to Pietre Strette and then begin the comfortable descent (mostly dirt not too steep) to the Molini farm where we will have lunch. (1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.)
We descend the last km to the beautiful Abbey of San Fruttuoso. We learn about its history and enjoy a well-deserved bath. Those who wish can visit the interior of the abbey.
At 4 p.m. we take the boat (10€) from San Fruttuoso to Camogli (4:30 p.m.) passing by Punta Chiappa.
Reaching Camogli we cross its historic center on the sea side, stop for a small aperitif and reach the station where at 18.14 we take the train to Genoa Brignole (18.48) and from there at 19.36 to Milan (21.40).
