Wild and unfrequented, walking through the beautiful Sanagra Valley is like taking a dip into the past.
Ancient villages perfectly preserved, mills that for centuries provided energy for the area’s industrial activities, forgotten hamlets coloured with ancient frescoes….And don’t you work up an appetite thinking about a lunch of freshly caught trout? We are at the ‘Chioderia’, a splendid renovated mill that has served multiple functions over the years and today operates as a trout farm and restaurant….And if there are children, they can dabble in fishing! -Hours 08:45 in Lecco Galli Ezio, from here we go to Varenna by car, ferry to Cadenabbia, in 10 minutes we will be in Menaggio
Difficulty: We walk on easy paths, the footbridge along the orrido is very narrow and slightly exposed
