A Japanese practice which has grown in popularity in the last 40 years, Shinrin-Yoku, sometimes translated as Forest Bath, is based on the many health benefits to humans who spend time in forested areas.  A proper experience involves using all our senses to deeply connect with nature. For this practise we’ve chosen a beautiful coniferous forest interspersed by streams and wooden sculptures, we’ll be walking sections in utter silence, sometimes barefoot on a carpet of pinecones, we’ll learn about the chemical properties of trees terpens, and make a tea with Vitamnin C rich pine needles.
