MEETING POINT: Meet at 8:30 a.m. at Galli Ezio‘s car park Via Fiandra, 15, 23900 Lecco LC From here we will be in Dascio in less than an hour’s drive.

The northernmost stage of the ancient Via Regina, a very scenic half-hike, will allow us to reach a secluded temple, where no roads reach. We enter the nature reserve of Pian di Spagna, an alluvial plain separating Lake Como from Lake Mezzola, and enjoy splendid views of Lake Mezzola.
Above us stand the peaks of Monte Berlinghera, Sasso Manduino and Monte Legnone. Our traverse reaches the Sasso di Dascio bel vedere , a splendid vantage point over the Pian di Spagna nature area. We skirt the lake, pass above the Poncio waterfall, and then descend to a 10th century jewel: the small temple of San Fedelino!
We enjoy a nice picnic lunch by the lake and return to Dascio via boat (motor!).
