A surprising route that starts from Ghisallo, an ancient church and a museum dedicated to cycling, and explores the mountains above Bellagio, offering a double panorama towards Varenna and the northern branch of the lake, and towards the city of Lecco and its famous mountains.
A path through chestnut and hornbeam woods takes us to Mount Leves, where there was once a castle for sighting and guarding.
We return with a ring-route passing above the small village of Barni
We can arrange lunch at a local “agriturismo” or typical “trattoria” on request.
