A scenic walk along easy paths, enjoying the autumn colours and lunch at an old inn

A hidden corner with sweeping views and pastel colours. We are in Morterone, Italy’s smallest municipality, where the rolling hills have for centuries been a destination for shepherds and cheesemakers, and the pastures yield the most flavourful cheese of all: alpine cheese.
It’s late autumn, and nature is treating us to warm colours. A walk along wide mule tracks and a few easy paths, with views stretching out over the Bergamo Orobie.
We’ll be following a circular route through rolling hills, amongst beech woods and wide clearings.
For lunch ,we’ll be stopping off at a historic inn,the Trattoria Cacciatori! (If anyone doesn’t want to have lunch, we’ll sort something out.)
