A lovely walk and wine tasting amongst the vineyards and charming farmhouses on the rolling hills of Brianza.

Between Lake Como and Milan lies a lush, hilly region called Brianza, a mosaic of small woods, streams and farmland, renowned for its fine wines and goat’s cheeses! We’ll take a stroll through this beautiful park, which is every bit as lovely as the rolling hills of Tuscany!

From our meeting point, we’ll walk along a wide bridle path through fields and past farms to Ca’ del Soldato, home to a small museum. From there, we’ll continue along a woodland path (a bit steep in places, but never difficult) to Montevecchia, a charming village perched on a hilltop overlooking the entire park. If you’d like, you can climb the 180 steps leading up to the sanctuary, where the view is even more spectacular!

A picnic lunch with stunning views, then, after crossing the lovely square, we’ll reach a charming farmhouse, where we’ll stop for a wine tasting. Our host will first take us through the vineyards, where we’ll enjoy our first glass. We’ll then head down to the lovely cellar to taste more locally produced IGT wines, accompanied by cheeses, prosciutto and salami from Montevecchia. If you’d like to stay on for dinner, just let us know – we can organise it! The descent is easy along a tarmac road that winds through the woods.
