'Dorsale del Lario'
See lake Como like no one else. Como-Bellagio, an epic journey along the mountain ridge that connects the two pearls of the lake. A vantage point to get the best panoramas, combined with the achievement of doing it on your feet!
This 2-day trek, starts from Como on a suggestive funicular railway up to the small town of Brunate, (715 m.a.s.l.) From there on it's on foot all the way to Bellagio, on a trail which starts off as a fairly wide mule track, turning into a path on the mountain ridge (never too exposed), with breathtaking views of the lake, then across beautiful beech woodlands and open meadows.
You will sleep in a traditional mountain cabin 'Rifugio'. The food served in the several mountain restaurants along the way is notoriously good.
The return to Bellagio is in great style on a ferry boat for more sightseeing over the majestic villas and impressive mountains.
