A traditional Bellagio dish that is an experience to be enjoyed all together!

We are already in the New Year: but traditions do not change. Here we are again with our most ‘local’ gastronomic appointment ! The exclusive, the true, the only, the convivial TOC that we all eat around the pot (and please do NOT call it polenta uncia).
I would like to remind the more refined that toc is eaten with the hands , you ‘touch’ it, scoop up a ‘balott’ of polenta with a wooden spoon and bring this delicacy to your mouth with your hand. But since appetite comes with walking, we will spend the morning discovering many hidden corners of the Bellagio area.


Views of the lake, farmsteads, forests and even mysterious boulders. Stories of nobles and peasants. But at 12 noon everyone has their legs under the table in an old farmhouse with a long history and where the products are truly those of the land.

MEETING POINT: 9.30 a. m. at L’ AGRITURISMO CASCINA PRADA, Costa Prada in Bellagio (ATTENTION: there is little field in the area)
Cost: € 20 + € 30 for lunch: plenty of toast, farmhouse cured meats and cheeses, galina “fregia” or boiled hen with stuffing on the side, “regell” a digestive cooked wine served in the polenta pot, home-made cake, wine, water and coffee included. IN THE EVENT OF BAD WEATHER ONLY LUNCH WILL BE SERVED AND THE COST WILL BE CHARGED.
What to bring: Comfortable shoes, warm clothing in layers . Do not hesitate to contact us for any clarification.
