Wild and little-visited, traveling through the beautiful Sanagra Valley is like taking a plunge into the past. Ancient villages perfectly preserved, mills that for centuries provided energy to the industrial activities of the area, the Ghisa furnaces of the 1700s… A deep canyon, the Menaggio Gorge, which we will cross along a narrow footbridge at the side of the gorge… The Rogolone, majestic centuries-old oak, among the most imposing in Europe… A lunch of freshly caught Trout at the Chioderia, a beautiful renovated mill that has served multiple functions over the years and today operates as a trout farm and restaurant….And if there are children, they will be able to dabble in fishing!
