A walk through beautiful beech and coniferous forests, a relaxing moment lying in a hammock enjoying nature or… a good book!
Beautiful walking in the mountains, enjoying nature, landscapes, panoramas, reaching a summit…it is not always easy to find the context to rest, which is why we have devised thehammock trail! When we reach a vantage point in a fir forest, our guide will show us how to fix the hammock between two trees and we enjoy an hour of pure relaxation, reading a book, listening to music or simply lazing around!
We meet at the little church‘Madonna del Ghisallo‘, the guide will explain this iconic place proclaimed by Pope Pius XII as the ‘Celestial Patroness of Italian cyclists’. We drive up another 5 minutes, here begins our loop walk. We reach the source of the Lambro river, continue through the fir trees to the cross of Monte Dalco. Here the guide gives us hammocks (which we will take home for future treks!), we have a packed lunch, enjoy some relaxation, and then return along the mule track back to our cars.
