Lake Como and the peaks and valleys that surround will astonish you, that's for sure. We really got under the skin of the place thanks to Gabri. I'll never forget the ascent of Monte Resegone. It was made very special with brilliant stories and guides that knew the fauna and flora well - we even spotted some Chamois! Really safe and thoughtfully routed it was a stand out day on our trip.

Cycling was fantastic too with exciting routes chosen to accomodate the different levels of ability in our group. You'll know about it the next day but the memories last a great deal longer than any aches. We stopped at a rifugio where we were served food that almost convinced us to abandon the bikes! Oustanding guides that'll give you the best of the area.....showing you the kind of thing you set out to see and taking you to places you had no idea exsisted! Highly recommended. Thanks again - we'll be back!

Domenica mattina 2 giugno mi sono recato a Rezzago, paesino situato sulle prealpi lombarde nel mezzo dei 2 rami del lago di como, alle pendici del monte san primo. Con un gruppo di altre persone abbiamo fatto un escursione ad anello di circa 4 ore toccando vari punti dei dintorni. Siamo stati seguiti ed "istruiti" da guide escursionistiche ambientali e devo dire che pur conoscendo gia' qualcosa della zona con il loro contributo questa escursione e' stata "sorprendente". Abbiamo fatto un "viaggio circolare" non solo nel cammino ma anche nel gustare i vari aspetti che incontravamo: da quelli architettonici e storici del paese e della zona, a quelli legati alla conformazione del territorio, dagli aspetti naturalistici di flora e fauna a quelli culinari… Inoltre le guide hanno preparato dei momenti in cui si approfondiva anche in maniera leggera e divertente l'ambiente che stavamo visitando; ad esempio aver riprodotto il canto degli uccelli che vivono da queste parti e saperli riconoscere "dal vivo" mentre si sentivano cantare durante l'escursione. Consiglio vivamente a tutti in qualsiasi territorio e occasione ci si possa trovare di provare ad avvalersi dji queste guide affinche' una semplice gita diventi un qualcosa che ti rimane "dentro"

This was our first time biking in the area and we didn´t know where to find the more technical mtb-trails. Thanks to Gabriele we had really fun forest trails with many exciting downhill sections. We were also shown breathtaking viewpoints and beautiful villages along the way. L'escursione a Rezzago è l'esempio di come anche la più semplice delle passeggiate si possa trasformare in un'occasione per apprendere ed apprezzare un luogo. Bastano dieci passi nel bosco per riscoprire con occhi nuovi ciò che fino al momento prima è sembrato banale o addirittura scontato. Il canto di un uccello, il colore di una foglia sull'albero, la quiete di un masso erratico che fa compagnia ad una cappella votiva lungo il sentiero. Il lavoro delle nostre guide è stato duplice: da una parte la loro passione ci ha permesso di percepire la realtà con rinnovata sensibilità ed abbiamo noi stessi lavorato attivamente per far si che ciò accadesse, trasformando la camminata in una caccia al tesoro dei cinque sensi; dall'altra ci sono state donate numerose informazioni storiche, culturali, naturalistiche, antropologiche, ornitologiche e via dicendo, che abbiamo gelosamente fatto nostre e che non perderemo occasione di sfruttare per le prossime uscite.
Ma il metro di giudizio più rilevante resta sempre la felicità che si prova sul far della sera, una volta tornati a casa propria.

Just completed a 61 km cycling tour around Lake Como with Gabriele. What a fabulous day with such a professional guide. In addition to seeing stunning scenery we learned a lot of interesting historical information about the villages we cycled through. Gabriele was particularly attentive to our safety at all times and ensured that we could use our hybrid bikes confidently. I highly recommend this hike and this guide. Lake Como is breathtaking with the most amazing scenery and the views over the lake of the mountains and villages were wonderful. I also enjoyed the smells of the autumnal trail where chestnuts lined the route. My very experienced guide for the day had a wealth of knowledge about the local area as he grew up in Lecco, and as he also spent many years in the UK, communication was no barrier between us as we hiked the Viandante trail between Bellano & Varenna. I truly enjoyed this hike with Gabriele. He showed beautiful paths and sights. He kept an excellent pace which was challenging yet still enjoyable- and knew when to give a break.
