An evening of relaxation, Ferragosto among forests, legends and Romanesque churches
If you don’t know this place you are missing something unique, one of the most important Romanesque monuments in Lombardy lost in a forest on the slopes of Monte Pedale (what is now called Cornizzolo)
Climbing to such a magical place at dusk makes the experience even more enthralling; the panorama opens out over the lakes of Brianza and the mountains of the Lecco area. Along the way we will tell the story (or legend) that explains the origin of so much beauty
To make it all more evocative are the sounds of the night: a tawny owl, a roe deer, perhaps a ‘nightjar’. And as always, a glass of wine will make everything even more poetic. We look forward to seeing you in the company of … King Desiderius of the Lombards
